Go to console.firebase.google.com → click Add project → name it anything → skip Analytics → click Create project.
In your project dashboard → click the </> web icon → register the app (any nickname) → copy the firebaseConfig block shown.
Left sidebar → Build → Realtime Database → Create database → pick any location → choose test mode → click Enable.
Paste the entire const firebaseConfig = { … } block (or just the object) into the box below.
